    How Row-Man-Tick!!!

While driving down the LDP, I came across a new billboard. From afar it looked really cool. Just a simple white background, copy and one image. As I drove closer, this was what I saw...

    marryme

Pretty awesome you've gotta admit. Cheesy that it was Valentine's day but still it was cool because it was daring enough that the dude on the billboard pulled it off. Now what would have been really funny would be that if Kelly Tan E Li didn't follow her normal route back from work. It was so jammed that she decided to use an alternative route or worst, she says no! An expensive marriage proposal down the drain...

    Ticket

Not too long ago, Sim and I were on medical leave on the same day. It was just a coincidence, as we didn’t plan on taking it together. I was actually not sick(hehehe), just needed a break. Sim proclaimed to be really sick although he looked fine to me.

Sim calls, “Eh! What you doing? I’m on MC la…”

    “Me too!”

So we met up at Old Town for a bite and decided to meet up with James to get a “package” that was sent to me from Meng. It was suppose to be a quick grab and dash.

“We just pick it up and go right?” Sim asked, “ Because Ika is coming over.”

I agreed and we made our way to KLCC to meet James, parked the car, had a drink and made our way back to the car park. As we arrived at the automated parking paying machine thingie, I put the ticket into the machine. After scouring through my wallet, I realised I had no small change. The biggest was 10 bucks.

“Sim got small change ah?” While Sim went through his wallet for the one ringgits he had, I was distracted by this white guy that told me I dropped 5 bucks on the floor. After Sim paid and of course thanking the man and making a joke with him, we made our way to the car. As we were approaching the car, I went through my pockets searching for the parking ticket.

“Dude, do you have the ticket?!?” Now it was Sim’s turn to ransack his pockets.

“I also don’t have la dude! I thought you took the ticket!” And we blamed each other for a good 10 minutes before making our way back to the machine to check if our ticket was still around. After examining the machine from top to bottom we came to the conclusion that the ticket was gone forever. So I pressed the little intercom button on the machine.

    “Hello bang, hilang tiket la!”

A voice came out from the tintercom, “ Come to our office. Level pitoo, palang delima.”

    “Huh?? Apa??”

    “Level P2, Palang B5!”

    “Oh ok ok. Thanks.”

So we made our way down to Level P2, Pillar Number B5 and there it was, the parking lot office. The lady at the counter told us that it would be RM50 for a lost ticket. We have already conceded on giving up RM50, 25 each after splitting the cost. At the end, the nice lady at the counter only charged us RM3(which is what we paid for the ticket in the first place) for a new ticket. Kudos to the KLCC parking lot office! I think it was due to Sim’s muscular body and astonishing good looks. We were also a good 50 minutes late to meet up with Ika.
