    the morning after

zouk was mighty fun. have not partied with dimar for a while and it was all worth it although i did not feel like going out that night. i did get a major wonking headache when i woke up but i guess it was all worth it. the DDA fan chick was a no show, so that was kind of a bummer. i think dimar was just pulling my leg so that he could get me to drive all the way to kl. he did though find me real cheap parking that was only 3 bucks which is a bargain deal as far as parking in kl is concern.

actually missed my flight to penang and abe had to u-turn back to get me. headed to the bank and got a later flight with MAS. i am never supporting air asia again. so i was 5 minutes late. gimme a break, the night before was quite hardcore... so what if they are boarding the plane already!! issue me the ticket. i run to the gate and board like all the other passengers. no biggie. bloody air asia.

now that i'm back in penang things are ok again. at least they will be later. the "TB" is just about to start. going to have to hold it all in and be a man which according to amit i am not very good at. hehe. am actually using kok meng's mac now and writting this at coffee bean. i feel like such a sell out yuppie... WISH ME LUCK WORLD....!!!!

    no ending

so it all comes down to this weekend. frankly, i am not looking forward to it and am just concentrating on chilling and having fun. this weekend we will reach the pivotal episode of the "TB" if not the season finale. do not get me wrong, i am not one for drama or anything remotely close to that. i will just like to live my life in a quiet manner with good people around and no drama to surface. let us hope for the best of everyones interest that the weekend will go through smoothly.

i have decided not to let it bother me but it has been hard. so tonight from dimar's invitation i have decided to go to zouk with him. apparently he's got this chick friend coming down from the philipines who is like a big DDA fan. time to take advantage of being in a band. i usually do not take advantage of telling chicks that i play in a band mainly because i think it is a bit poserish but who the hell gives a damn now... hehe. let's BOOGIE.

    Forever or not forever

sometimes i wonder. will we always play snooker... or will it die down like other past passions. for now it seems like a distant future. i mean what else would we do? for years now the simple answer was snooker. it's a command bond. the science of it is wicked and no doubt the fun that comes with the game.

it all began on a day when the market "bus stop" was the common ground of hanging out. kok meng and i went there one day and feasted our eyes on the sign that read, "Vision Snooker Centre". could it be? a snooker centre right in our very backyards. so we decided to take a closer look. we went into the building and took the elevator to the first floor. then this chick came out and told us to come back tomorrow. at that very moment we got on our knees and thank the lord above.

so from then on we ditched the market "bus stop" and started spending money on a lil game we like to call snooker. i can assure that everybody has been there. throughout the years people have come and gone but when they return there we would be in our spare time. hitting red balls into a small hole to achieve a colour ball for more points.

we even gambled with snooker with a game we called "Lucky Ball". you play with pool balls on a snooker table. of course the pool balls are the size of snooker balls. if it was not it would be absurd. a deck of cards now come in play. each player gets 5 cards. and that contains the numbers of the ball they have to pot. you see pool contains of 15 balls. there are 13 numbers in a deck of cards. so the 14 and 15 ball on the table are bonus balls. the player before the potter of the lucky ball will have to pay the potter the agreed amount(usually 1-2 ringgit). anyway back to the main objective; to pot all your balls that the card number represents. 1-10 is represented by the 1-10th ball. whilst the jack is 11, queen is 12 and finally 13 is king. the player first to pot all balls win. then everybody pays the winner.

if a person fouls their turn, the punishment is to put 1 to 2 ringgit, depending on the agreed amount, on the table to pay for the game later. it may sound confusing at first but it's well fun when you do get into it. make sure you've got loads of 1 ringgit change though before you play it. if not you would be walking a lot to the counter to change your dough.

we seem to be playing less of "Lucky Ball" these days. maybe we just lost the passion for it. maybe it will pick up again or maybe it could be a sign that soon, snooker will start to fade just like it's gambling counterpart. in time we will know but what i know for sure snooker will always have a place in my heart.

on another note. got back to penang today, seems kinda empty. had a session of snooker with the boys. finally getting to pass out now and will do it with much a great pride!
