    The Infamous Waja Window

After lunch, driving back to the office, my car's driver side power window decided to go all chaotic on me. It decided it was time for me to have some fresh air. So it automatically winded down itself. Everytime I tried winding it up, it came back right down. At one point I was struggling with it as if someone else was trying to wind it down while I wind it up. It didn't help that it was raining quite heavily at the time.

So you can imagine me driving down a busy SS2 junction, getting splashed by the rain and frantically pressing down the up button for the window. Then the phone rang...

I figured due to the rain, the button on the door got wet. So it must have short circuit the electronics or something.

Videos from the Malaysia vs Chelsea game

Thought I'd just post these up. We're not Chelsea fans! We just thought it'd be fun to go to the game.

    A Chance for Malaysia???

    Dinner

Since Sheena was out of town last night, I decided to cook my own dinner. Being a bit broke, it came to me as a good idea. So I proceed to get the dorry fish out of the freezer to defrost. Then I seasoned it with salt, pepper and some garlic powder. And then into the oven it went to bake for about 10 minutes. Then add some cheese later and bake for a further 2 minutes. Top it up with a bit of leftover salad from the night before and you've got dinner!

Turned out to be quite crap because I seasoned it with too much salt. Had to throw the fish away. Dorry sucks! Doesn't go well with cheese or with garlic. Had to order McDonald's instead...

    Lottery Luck

I don't usually gamble or buy lottery tickets. The last time I bought one was during Chinese New Year and just because one of my aunt's work in the Toto shop, we'll just get her to punch the number in for us. Since I've been seeing cars with my license plate number (or close to it) a lot these few days, I decided to try my luck. So after lunch Mike and Meng decided to try their luck on the Jackpot lottery since the prize money is up to 14 million bucks!

I just went for your normal Toto 4D buying my car number plate. Well, long story short, I didn't win the lottery. The closest I came to was 3rd prize as the number was 7410, 2 numbers short of what I bought. Better luck next time I guess.

    4 Eyed Family

Recently, I have been getting blur visions which I usually blame on lack of sleep but this time it's lasted longer. It used to be half a day or one at most. Now it can go up to 3 days straight. Elaine seems to think it's my high cholesterol making its way up to my eye arteries. Nonsense.

My suspicion that I might need glasses increased as my sister gave me news that she would need glasses. "Koko!!! No one wants to marry me liao!!"

I tried comforting her by introducing the idea of contact lenses but the optometrist wanted her to try on glasses first. The poor girl, and she's only 21. I've never really had a problem with glasses. In fact I've always wanted glasses when I was a kid (somehow I thought it complimented my face) but to wear a pair at this age and to think of all the nuisance that comes with it ie. losing it, breaking it, playing sports with it etc.

So as it might run in the family, I guess it's best I head over to see an optometrist myself.

Carry Mee, Extra Heavy, One Please!

I'm sure the fella that put this up didn't know any better.

Maybe he could have made the effort to check other coffee shops to examine how they spell 'curry'. If more than 2 shops spells it 'curry' as well, I'd say that's odds on the way to go!
